Teachers day is celebrated on September 5th, every year in India to mark the birth anniversary of our Former President Dr. Sarvepali Radhakrishna. He had the opinion that “Teachers should be the best minds in the country”. Radhakrishna is acclaimed for dedicating his life to education and improving the standards in the field of education. He was honored with Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award in 1954.
